The Ultimate Engine Oil is made from the finest pure petroleum base oils with the strongest additive packages available on the market.  Paraffinic base oil is the purest base oil available and is used to build the Ultimate Engine Oil. In addition to this strong base oil, the Ultimate carries a powerful additive package.  The finest antifoam agents, pour point depressants, oxidation inhibitors, rust inhibitors, anti-wear and anticorrosion additives. The most important additive system in engine oils are the detergent and dispersants. These will help keep your internal components clean and allow you to drop all contaminants out of the system when you drain your oil.  Because of this your equipment will never experience any sludging or varnishing.

The Ultimate is comprised of the best pure petroleum base oils and additive packages. It also carries a high level of lubricity, strength and seal conditioners which makes this oil the finest lubricating oil on the market. Special synthetic base stocks provide Lubricity. These base stocks bind to metal surfaces by an electrostatic attraction. When the bulk oil film is thin there is a chance of metal touching metal. When a lubricity film is in place the parts slide on that film. Metal to metal contact is eliminated. Wear is substantially reduced. Lubricity provides many benefits not available with petroleum oils.

Benefits

  1. Extended drain intervals - up to twice as long. After 20,000 miles you can sample oil every 5,000 miles to determine maximum oil life for each particular engine.
  2. Elimination of dry starts.  The exclusive additive package in STEWARD 15/40 Truck Oil insures a protective film on all parts at all times.
  3. Lower operating temperatures.  Normal oil temperature will be lower, but more importantly, the additive film in STEWARD 15/40 will not rupture in a situation of overheating.
  4. Extended protection from fuel dilution.  The additive package in Steward 15/40 Truck oil is more resistant to breakdown from the solvents in diesel fuel than are the common additive packages found in regular 15/40 blends.
  5. High detergent action.  Motor oil is usually changed because it's contaminated with combustion byproducts, not because it's worn out. The high detergent action of STEWARD 15/40 allows up to twice as much contamination to be held in suspension while still providing good lubrication.
  6. A higher degree of lubricity.  The slicker the oil the easier the engine starts and the easier it runs.
  7. Higher oil pressure.  Higher oil pressure means more protection and more cooling.
  8. Less oil consumption.  The low volatility of STEWARD 15/40 Truck Oil makes it harder to burn. The thicker oil film makes it harder for the oil to get past the rings to the combustion chamber.
  9. More protection for older engines.  Common engine oils are formulated for the tolerances of new engines only. The extra additives in STEWARD 15/40 coats the parts with a heavy additive film that compensates for the extra space between the moving parts typically found in older engines.
  10. Extended protection from oxidation.  Oxidation is the subtle killer that often finishes off worn engines. Oxidation is evidenced by a thickening of the oil and the oxidation rate is accelerated by blow-by. STEWARD 15/40 Truck Oil controls this in two ways: (1) When it coats the cylinder walls it slows oil burning and lowers the rate of blow-by. (2) The extra detergent additives keep the combustion acids separated much longer.
  11. Provides quieter and smoother operation.  By providing extra cushion to the moving parts the effect of "knocking" is greatly reduced. This factor will be greatly appreciated by operators of cars and small trucks with diesel engines.
